It was a manic day, Things were running late and Daniel was scheduled to fight 1 hour after me, Which in the ended up being at the same time on opposite mats, so we have no film or photo's of our weight division fights, A pity but unnavoidable, Still Daniel performed like a veteran dominating his opponents with repeated attacks winning the Final in under 2 minutes,His opponent knew Daniels game from GOOGLE'ing him, And pulled guard immediately Daniel stood to open then accepted the sweep to get into his own guard, Quickly transitioning in the rubber guard with an Omo Plata then turning back to the fight ending triangle choke, The finalist was also the reigning PanAmerican champion.

MY semi Final started with me staying as low as i could then jumping guard, but we were both stood up and the next time took me down and then stalled to win the fight on the takedown no complaints from me i would have done the same,

It was then a 4 hour wait for the Absolute which ended at 9.40PM ish, There were some really big guys in this This time however i was in the light half of the draw, In the semi final it was against the Lightweight GOLD medalist who beat the Middleweight GOLD medalist in the previous round, Once again jumping guard and attacking with a couple of guillotines and wrist locks to win on points,

The Final however was a problem and while failing to solve it ended up being RUN OVER in about 90 seconds with the guy nearly tearing my arm off with a Americana from on top in my Half Guard, The Ironic thing was he is a Chiropractor and afterwards said " I heard that sucker POP, I'll have a look at it for you i am a Chiropractor"
