First to fight was Chris after waiting all day because his weight category was not on the itinerary, ended up fight at 4 o’clock rather than the anticipated 11/12. During the fight he had a close submission attempt at the beginning and then gassed out after not making it succeed and lost on points. And lastly Oliver in his first competition as a blue belt took third place after fighting 4 good fights. He won the first fight with a cross choke from the guard, quick and effective. The second guy much like the first won via a choke. The third fight was against a massive pushing heavyweight blue belt. Oliver got the take down and won on points. In the fourth he had to fight a guy ranked number 2 in England in judo and because he was behind on points went all out but to no avail and took an excellent bronze.

Nick Brooks won GOLD in the –66kg division defeating all 3 opponents by submission, in the first fight nick took his opponent down with a single leg takedown and after trying to pass his opponents guard for over 2 minutes and coming very close on 2 occasions decided to take the fight from his own guard before the points system came into affect, and submitted his opponent by kimura after forcing his opponent to post his hand to defend a sweep, in the semi final Nick submitted his opponent by arm bar after jumping guard dragging his opponent to the mat and passing his leg around his opponents head for the arm lock, Nicks opponent stood and picked nick off the floor trying to shake the arm lock loose, but the lock was secure and forced his opponent to submit, In the final Nick's very strong opponent from London Shootfighters steam rollered his way to the final with strong attacks, submissions and positional domination, However Nick submitted his opponent with an arm scissors from the guard in just 40 seconds, After jumping guard immediately and bringing his opponent to the mat nick locked in the submission tight leaving his opponent no way out, Helio Perdigao from Gracie Lisboa / Ju-Jitsu Portugal was in nicks corner coaching his fights this proved to be a very strong partnership on the day,
